WEDDING COUNTDOWN IS IN SINGLE DIGITS.
I hope my mom isn’t reading this, she’s stressed like crazy and doesn’t need a reminder.
On Monday this week I thought, “Maybe I’ll do a juice cleanse!”
Not that I want to be crazy and lose a bunch of weight, but after all the dining out all summer I wanted to hit the re-set button. And yeah looking good in a bridesmaid dress is a plus.
I did some research about juicers online, and looked up some DIY cleanse plans and juice recipes. I was a woman on a mission.
Then I went to Target and felt that $55 was a lotttt of money to spend on a juicer. Did I mention I have some form of PTSD from being grad school broke? I’m aware that a “good” juicer costs like $300. Don’t even show me those.
I scooted out of Target and walked next door to Harris Teeter to scope out the produce, thinking maybe I could find a way to just use the blender we already have for this plan.
But then in Harris Teeter, fresh mozzarella cheese was 50% off. So really, what’s a girl to do?
You know how to make pizza.
I used this dough (with the dough hook on the KitchenAid!!), this sauce, fresh basil, and cheese.
Baked it at 425.
Juice cleanse next week. Definitely.
